Description: Read the value of *INIT pin.

Syntax: $AAI[chk](cr)

$ A delimiter character

AA 2-character HEX module address, from 00 to FF

[chk] 2-character checksum. If checksum is disabled, no [chk]

(cr) 0x0D

Response:

Valid response !AAS[chk](cr)

Invalid response ?AA[chk](cr)

no response Syntax error, communication error or address error

! A delimiter character indicating a valid response

? A delimiter character indicating an invalid response

AA 2-character HEX module address

S=0 INIT* pin is connected to GND pin

S=1 INIT* pin is open

[chk] 2-character checksum. If checksum is disabled, no [chk]

(cr) 0x0D

Examples:

INIT* pin is connected to GND pin:

command: $01I(cr)

response: !010(cr)

INIT* pin is open:

command: $02I(cr)

response: !021(cr)
