Stop Bits An
The Stop Bits
command programs the number of stop bits contained in each
character transmitted and received by the selected serial port. The Port Select
command (
Pn
) is used to select the serial port regardless of addressing mode in use.
The factory default setting as set by the Save Configuration command (
S0
) is

stop bit.

One stop bit selected.

Two stop bits selected.

Return current stop bit setting.
Example 1: Set stop bits for ports 1 and 3 using dual primary addressing mode
