Format
daq9513SetAlarm(handle, deviceType, whichDevice, alarmNum, alarmVal);
Purpose
daq9513SetAlarm sets the specified alarm register.
Parameter Summary

handle DaqHandleT
Handle to the device from which to get 9513 frequency
deviceType DaqIODeviceType
Specifies the 9513 device type
whichDevice DWORD
Specifies which 9513
alarmNum DWORD
The alarm register number
alarmVal DWORD
The value to write to the selected alarm register
Parameter Values
handle: obtained from the daqOpen function
deviceType: must be set to value DiodtLocal9513
whichDevice: valid value for all devices is 0
alarmNum: valid values range from 1 to 2
alarmVal: valid values range from 0 to 65,535
Returns
DerrInvCtrNum Invalid counter number
DerrNotCapable No 9513 available
DerrNoError No error

Function Usage
The alarm register set by daq9513SetAlarm is only used if the corresponding comparator has been
enabled using the daq9513SetMasterMode function. The alarm register can then be used with the
comparators described in the entry for daq9513SetMasterMode.
